Specialized's converti-coat is a lightweight, packable option with some nice features to keep it versatile. Lightweight, slightly stretchy Deflect material and a loose cut keep it mobile. A tall collar, silicone hem and decent length sleeves provide decent coverage, and it shrugs off wind and light showers fine.
There's a zipped back and chest pocket to keep stuff safe, the front zip opens both ways, and the sleeves and shoulder yoke zip and pop off easily to rip it into a vest. It's sweaty though, particularly under a hydration pack, so the sleeves tend to come off quickly.
