Abus Dryve messenger bag review

Made by a company who are best known for their security products, the Dryve may not have the cachet of messenger bags from more niche or fashionable brands. But it's a tough, practical, comfortable and well-designed option, which stays resolutely in place when riding and boasts exceptional waterproofing.

The strap has a pocket for your mobile phone or MP3 player â€" complete with headphone slot. Internally, there's a compartment for a 15in laptop within the 16-litre main section, a cinched nylon liner providing more weather protection, and there's an external front pocket with waterproof zip. All the buckles are reassuringly chunky, and the back is very well padded.
