LAS Anubi helmet review

The Anubi features 25 large vents, but the polystyrene core has an internal nylon skeleton running from front to rear and temple to temple, keeping the lid tough enough to pass all the safety standards that matter.

What really sets the Anubi apart, though, is the huge amount of adjustment in the rear cradle for a perfect fit: three positions for length (front to back), a slider with over 2in of adjustment for the base of the skull strap, and a rotating two-way ratchet for width.

The 25 vents provide more than enough airflow to keep your head cool and it comes with three pad sets – a minimal, quick-drying set for high summer, a winter pad set that reduces the size of the vents, and a spring/summer set with built-in bug netting.

Construction quality is superb, with the flush-fitting hardshell moulded perfectly into the polystyrene core, and the straps mounted in solid anchors. We also love the Italian flag colours woven into the straps. As well as the three pad sets, the 260g Anubi comes with a detachable peak and a helmet bag.
