Higgins' scratch fifth highlights Americans' Day 3 of track worlds
The 2012 UCI Track World Championships continued Friday in Hisense Arena in Melbourne with much improved results for the Americans. Cari Higgins finished fifth in the scratch race, Michael Blatchford advanced in the menand#39;s sprint and Sarah Hammer sits in third place midway through the six-event womenand#39;s omnium.
