Vittoria Corsa Evo CX tubular road tyre review

The Evo CX has been introduced as an improvement to the highly successful Corsa CX race tyre. If your roads are on the rough side it's worth considering over a lighter tub.

Its 290tpi (threads per inch) casing is quite supple, but the ride quality is less forgiving than you'd expect, thanks to a puncture-resistant belt beneath the central tread. The tyre shoulders are relatively soft so cornering is good and grippy.

The Corsa Evo CX is pricey but you should get plenty of wear out of it. The main hassle is gluing the tyre onto your rim and carrying a spare tub in case you puncture.
