Santini Shadow skinsuit review

The Santini Shadow skinsuit is a short sleeved number – definitely not for the cold conditions found in early season time trials. It's available in plain colours – black, white or red – and has a six-size range.

It's comfortable for riding in, although the fit could be better at the chest, and features arm and leg grippers to keep things snug.It has a sizeable zipped rear pocket too.

The visible seams might look the business but are less streamlined than hidden seams. Our experience with Santini kit is that it does wear well, so you'll get a few years' use out of it.
