Kenda Kadence road tyre review

Kenda's Kadence has the feel and weight of a summer tyre, with no protective belt under the tread and less rubber than a typical training tyre.

That means it's fairly light – 208g – and rolls very well indeed. The flipside is that, compared to more robust all-season training rubber, it's fragile and fairly easy to poke holes in. We'd expect mileage to be lower too.

Grip is good, however. It's a dual compound tyre, and the lack of stiffness in the tread means it deforms well to lay down sufficient rubber on the road.
