Polaris Vortex tights review

With full windproof panels from ankle to hip, using Polaris's Vortex fabric, these certainly keep windchill at bay. Water resistance is impressive too – fine for light to medium showers and quick to dry.

The remaining material, apart from the mesh back, is a Roubaix-like Lycra, which adds plenty of warmth. The pad is a Coolmax gel, with good depth and thick sit bone padding, but it's a bit large and slightly stiff. Visibility is good, with plenty of reflective details.
