Saris Bike Porter Trunk 3 car rack review

Fitting the Bike Porter is simplicity itself. Straight from the box a central release knob loosens the rack legs and bike supporting arms, so just place in position and tighten. Six labelled hooks anchor the rack, and the widely spaced soft rubber supports have channels to prevent frame tubes resting on cables.

the supports rotate to attach to seat- or top tube, with effective quick-release ratchet clamps holding bikes up to 35lb each in place. The rack's single upper point of contact allowed some rocking while driving though, and the rack-plus-lower-bike position completely obscure the registration plate. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
