French designers, eh. Mavic has come up with an ultra-distinctive long, narrow design. It's easy to read, and you can download your riding info straight onto your PC (not a Mac) as it has an integrated – if potentially vulnerable – USB plug. Navigating is easy with two front-mounted buttons, the display is reasonably clear and tidy, and functions include altimeter, gradient and temperature.
But the already hefty price doesn't include a sensor – three different options are available – or a cadence function. And there are more comprehensive computers available at this price.
