Selle Italia SLR Tri Gel saddle review

Selle have updated their light SLR Tri saddle for even more long-mileage, low-position comfort. The fat, drooped-nosed profile of the Tri Gel is common on a lot of multisport saddles to spread pressure when you’re rolled forward in an aero tuck. Selle have configured the paneling to remove any problematic perineum seams and make the most of the thick ‘Genuine Gel’ padding underneath.

They’ve added extended fins to the mid-section flanks to reduce chafing. The back section is thinned out and the 30% carbon shell is mounted on tubular Vanox rails to keep weight low, at 230g. Rails are long for good fore and aft adjustment. The Lorica covering is comfortable and secure wet or dry too.
