A genuinely legendary tyre among road racers, this latest Open Corsa is extremely quick, supple and confident – at a price.
The handmade, Kevlar-reinforced polycotton 320TPI carcass is very generous for its given size and delivers a deliciously floated and super-fast ride on the road.
It carries speed and holds a line in the rough particularly well, and the silica-enhanced SiO tread gives very low rolling resistance. It corners very confidently dry, dirty or wet too.
It’s not the best in terms of puncture protection and it wears fast – which makes the high price even more expensive in relative terms.
