BikeBrain Lite app for iPhone review

The Bikebrain Lite is a compelling piece of work for a free app. It effectively turns your iPhone into a bike computer. With heart rate monitor compatibility, customizable data windows and big, easy-to-see readouts, it’s pretty much a no-brainer for anyone with an iPhone.

The map helpfully orientates itself to your direction as you ride – but (and here’s the catch for remote riding fans) it’s not detailed, Ordnance Survey style mapping, so it’s best for overviews rather than actual route finding on a mountain bike.
