American trio takes bronze in team pursuit at Manchester World Cup

Americans Sarah Hammer, Dotsie Bausch, and Jennie Reed joined forces on Team Ouch to win a bronze medal in the womenandrsquo;s team pursuit on opening day of the UCI Track World Cup finale in Manchester, Great Britain. After posting the third fastest time in qualifying, the American trio faced the Netherlands in the bronze medal round, and posted a time of 3:23 to win the podiumandrsquo;s final step. Great Britain took the victory after beating out New Zealand in the gold medal final.
