The Intensive is a training version of the Fusion race tyre, intended for year-round rides. Rolling performance is better than many of its more expensive competitors. The rubber feels harder than those other tyres but offers less traction – and presumably friction, though we never had any nervous moments on the Intensives. A Kevlar belt under the tread should deflect most potential punctures, but the Hardskin reinforcement of the casing doesn't do much for those thin, supple sidewalls.
