The shape and fit of the Ergofits is similar to that of the Endura Equipes, without the seamless inner thighs. Seams are flat locked to avoid rubbing, and the deep Y-shaped back has meshed detailing in the small of the back.
This is a nod to breathability but we found the Ergofits warm on the hottest days, though weather that good is rare in the UK. The gel pad is comfortable; it has a simpler shape than those in some of the more expensive shorts but it isn’t lacking in comfort. The narrower grey panels are highly elasticated, adding a supportive feel.
